Singapore Airlines Group’s passenger volume soars 36.0% YoY in September
SIA and Scoot carried around 2.9 million passengers during the month.
Singapore Airlines Group (SIA Group) saw a 36.0% uptick in its passenger volume in September, carrying 2.9 million passengers last month.
Apart from passenger volume, group passenger capacity also increased in September by 23.7% YoY.
The airline group’s passenger load factor (PLF) also increased, rising by 0.7 percentage points (pp) YoY to 87.7%.
Meanwhile, the group’s cargo businesses reported positive volume growth, with total cargo and mail carried rising 3.0% YoY to 81.8 million kilograms (kg).
The group’s cargo load factor likewise improved, rising by 0.7 pp to 57.1%.
