
Singapore Changi Airport second best airport in the world
Seoul Incheon Airport remains on top for the seventh straight year in 2011 while Hong Kong International is no longer at the third post.
Beijing Capital Airport placed third in the Best Airport Worldwide category at the 2011 ASQ Awards, completing a clean sweep by Asian airports in this category, says Airports Council International.
In commenting the results, ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Director, Mrs. Patti Chau says, “Iwish to extend my congratulations to all the airports being recognized in the 2011 ACI Airport Service Quality Awards. This marks the seventh year in a row that Seoul Incheon International Airport has been named Best Airport Worldwide. Asia-Pacific airports have continued their success in demonstrating their commitment to customer service excellence and received the passengers’ vote of confidence. The 2011 result is very impressive as over 75% of the recognized airports are from the Asia-Pacific and Middle East region.”
