STB, Philippine Airlines join hands to promote travel to SG
PAL passengers will be given special deals for SG tourist spots.
The Singapore Tourism Board has partnered with Philippine Airlines (PAL) to promote travel to Lion City.
Under the memorandum of understanding signed on 19 April, PAL passengers will be entitled to Boarding Pass privileges which include special deals and promotions for tourist spots in Singapore including the Museum of Ice Cream, Mandai Wildlife Reserve, and establishments on Sentosa.
The partnership with PAL will kick off with the STB’s SingapoReimagine which will feature the airline's in-flight voice Inka Magnaye who will be traveling to Singapore.
“As we welcome more Filipino travelers back to Singapore, Philippine Airlines is an ideal partner for STB to launch attractive promotions and campaigns. We have an exciting lineup of new experiences and events that await our friends from the Philippines, and we look forward to seeing them in Singapore soon," Keith Tan, chief executive of STB, said.
PAL has two daily flights to Singapore and offers base fares as low as US$160 ($219) roundtrip.
Filipino travelers who are fully vaccinated can enjoy a streamlined travel process to Singapore, requiring only proof of vaccination, a pre-departure Covid-19 test, and a simple SG Arrival Card.
