Thales mulls hiring 1,000 people in SG
The company has 2000 people in Singapore across its four sites.
Thales plans to hire 1,000 people in the next three years for its avionics business in Singapore.
The company, which has been in Singapore for 50 years, has 2,000 people across its four sites.
In celebration of its 50th year in the Lion City, Thales also opened its Singapore Defence Hub, which has three pillars: Services, Engineering and Research.
“The Defence Hub will enhance long-term defence capabilities, including maintenance, support, operational availability and indigenous development to meet the needs of the Singapore Armed Forces,” Thales said.
“A seasoned pool of experts situated in-country allows for a faster turnaround time and more hands-on approach to adapt to customer requirements and strengthen customer intimacy,” it added.
