Tiger Airways launches membership card
Tiger Airways has soft launched its $29.95 Stripes membership card that targets to give members priority access to special fares and promotions.
In a statement, the company said Stripes members get access before others to special promotions across the Tiger network, including international flights by Tiger Airways Singapore and domestic flights by Tiger Airways Australia.
Whether it’s a weekly promotion or a special festive deal, members will enjoy these fares first without having to compete with the rest of the public. Stripes members can purchase promotional fares not just for themselves, but also their travelling companions in the same booking though subject to available seats.
Rosalynn Tay, Managing Director of Tiger Airways Singapore, said, “Our promotions are so popular that many customers have suggested special ‘members-only previews’. Stripes is our latest innovation that gives customers what they want. It empowers them with choice, without complex membership rules and rewards redemption schemes. For just $29.95 a year, a member gets to enjoy far greater savings. It’s good and simple – pay once, and get first dip to our famous low fares for 12 months.”
“As Singapore’s biggest low fare airline, we will continue to offer the lowest possible fares, plus a range of optional services so that customers only pay for what they really want. With this powerful combination of low fares and choice, we look forward to winning more fans and painting more of our stripes across the region” Ms. Tay adds.
Tiger Airways recently launched another successful ancillary service that allows customers to be ahead of the pack. Called boardmefirst, it gives customers priority boarding for only $6, and without having to pay high fares or chalk up frequent flyer miles.
