
Which Singapore airline was most on-time in May?
Tiger Airways takes the top spot with a 90.71% on-time departures and zero cancelled flights.
Singapore Airlines placed a distant second in on-time performance, according to the May 2012 Asian Carrier Arrival Performance report from FlightStats, with 81.97% on-time departures and nine cancelled flights.
Tiger Airways also beat out Singapore Airlines with its lower number of late (15 - 29 minutes), very late (30 - 44 minutes) and excessively late (44+ minutes) flights.
In Asia, Tiger Airways ranked eighth overall, coming in behind the traditionally more efficient Japanese airlines. ANA Wings topped the monthly rankings with 94.78% on-time departures. J-Air, Hokkaido International, Japan Air Commuter and Japan Transocean Air rounded out the top five.
