Tiger Airways appoints Mr Chang Long Wee as Non-Executive Director
Ms Lim Siew Lay was also appointed while Mr Lee Chong Kwee was re-elected following the retirement of Mr Chan Hon Chew, Mr Jack Koh and Mr Maurice Mason.
The two were nominees of Singapore Airlines, one of Tiger Airways’ major shareholders, and Mr Lee Chong Kwee was a nominee of Dahlia Investments Pte Ltd.
Mr Chang Long Wee is divisional vice-president for engineering services at Singapore Airlines. Prior to that he held other senior positions at Singapore Airlines since 2001. Mr Chang was with the Republic of Singapore Air Force from 1983 to 2001 and has held senior appointments in engineering, manpower and as a defence adviser with the Singapore High Commission in Australia.
Ms Lim Siew Lay is divisional vice-president for human resources at Singapore Airlines. Ms Lim has been with Singapore Airlines since 1990, handling various portfolios in both inflight and ground services. She was seconded to Tradewinds Tours and Travel Pte Ltd as general manager from 2008 to 2009. Before 1990, Ms Lim was accountant with Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS), then a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines. Ms Lim is a certified public accountant with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants Singapore, and will serve on the Remuneration Committee of the Tiger Airways board of directors.
