GLP secures 15,000 sqm lease with Japanese e-commerce retailer

The facility will be used as an operations hub.

Global Logistic Properties (GLP) seems has locked down a 15,000 sqm lease with Akachan House at GLP Narita in Greater Tokyo.

According to the GLP’s news release, Akachan House is an e-commerce retailer for baby products in Japan. It is consolidating multiple operations in Greater Tokyo into GLP Narita.

The facility will be used as a hub to support same-day distribution needs for their e-comerce operations in Japan.

“Domestic consumption remains strong and we continue to see demand for our modern logistics facilities as companies seek to consolidate their operations into a single, well-located facility,” commented Yoshiyuki Chosa, president of GLP Japan.
