Hotel site at Jurong Town Hall grabs 11 bids

Highest bid was $238.2m.

According to a release, the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) closed the tender for the hotel site at Jurong Town Hall Road today.

The site at Jurong Town Hall Road was launched for public tender on 19 September 2012. It was originally made available for sale through the Reserve List system on 29 May 2012. On 5 September 2012, URA announced that it had accepted a successful application for the site to be put up for sale. The site was offered for sale on a 99-year lease term.

Top five tenderers were Tamerton Pte Ltd. ($238.2m), Boo Han Holdings Pte. Ltd. and Far East Orchard Limited ($204.8m), United Engineers Developments Pte. Ltd. ($200.9m), Legend Land Pte Ltd ($194m), and Taipan Trustee Pte. Ltd. ($187.7m).
