Hotel site at Victoria Street, Ophir Road up for grabs

Boasts of 0.8-ha land area.

According to a release, the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has released the detailed sales conditions for the hotel site at Victoria Street/Ophir Road today.

The land parcel at Victoria Street/Ophir Road is made available for application under the Reserve List of the 2nd half 2012 Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme.

The land parcel is located near to the Ophir-Rochor Corridor, a new growth area envisionedto become an exciting 24/7 mix-use cluster with office, hotel, retail, entertainment and residential uses.

With a land area of 0.8 ha, the future development on this site will be able to yield about 32,019 m2 of gross floor area (GFA).

The land parcel is also located in proximity to two Historic Districts, namely the Kampong Glam Historic District and Little India Historic District. These districts are rich in heritage and culture and have unique traditional shophouses that are popular attractions for both tourists and locals.

Under the Government’s Reserve List system, the land parcel at Victoria Street / Ophir Road will be released for sale if the criteria for the triggering of the site is met.

When the site is put up for tender, a tender period of about 8 - 12 weeks will be allowed before tender closes.
