VivoCity's tenant sales also jumped 5.6%.

In a release, Mapletree Commercial Trust Management Ltd. announced that it has recorded a DPU of 1.753 cents for 1Q FY 2012/13. This is an increase of 14.1% when compared against 1Q FY 2012/13. When compared against the DPU Forecast of 1.580 cents, MCT recorded an out-performance of 10.9%.

Ms Amy Ng, Chief Executive Officer of MCTM, said, “We are also pleased to note that VivoCity’s tenant sales rose 5.6% year on year despite some downtime in trading as a relatively high number of tenants were carrying out fit-out during the period.

We have now committed almost 60% of leases expiring this financial year and are well-placed to deliver this financial year’s performance as projected in the Forecast. ”
