TEE International's unit grabs $30.4m building contracts

According to a release, SGX Mainboard listed TEE International Limited announced that its subsidiary PBT Engineering Pte Ltd had been awarded with contracts totaling $30.4 million for construction & redevelopment works. These new contracts bring the Group’s total outstanding order book for its Engineering segment to $299.5 million.

Notably, these new contracts consist of:

• Addition & Alteration work to existing Plaza Singapura Shopping Center – awarded by a subsidiary of Capitaland
• Addition & Alteration works to existing buildings and shophouses at Merchant Road – awarded by a subsidiary of Raffles Education
• New Erection of single storey building at Lorong Sesuai – awarded by Mediacorp Completion dates of these projects range from 1Q2013 to end of 3Q2013.

Commenting on the Group’s newly awarded contracts, Mr CK Phua, Group Chief Executive & Managing Director of TEE International, remarked: “We are pleased to be awarded with these contracts and they are a reflection of the Group’s core engineering capabilities. Going forward, we will continue to grow our Engineering segment both locally and regionally as we continue our push to be a leading engineering firm in Asia.”
