URA closes tender for hotel site at Gopeng Street

The tender for the hotel site at Gopeng Street/Peck Seah Street was closed on January 11.

According to URA, the site was launched for public tender on November 15 in the previous year. It was originally on the Reserve List of the Government Land Sales Programme.

On November 01, 2010, URA had accepted a successful application for the site to be put up for sale. The site was offered for sale on a 99-year lease.

According to Li Hiaw Ho of CBRE, the 99-year leasehold site has a maximum gross floor area of 19,416 sq meters while the land parcel is well-located in Tanjong Pagar area.
