URA launches tender at Hillview Avenue
The land parcel has a site area of about 1.4 ha and a maximum permissible gross floor area of 40,025 sqm.
According to URA, the tender will be for a commercial and residential site. The land parcel can potentially yield 370 housing units. Commercial uses up to a maximum permissible GFA of 6,000 sqm is allowed to provide convenient retail amenities to serve the residents in the Hillview area.
Located near to the future Cashew and Hillview Stations, which are part of the Downtown Line 2 (DTL2) Mass Rapid Transit system, future residents of the proposed residential development on site will enjoy convenient public access to all parts of the island. The DTL2, which is connected to key precincts in the city centre including Bugis, Marina Bay and Chinatown, is scheduled for completion in 2015.
