URA releases industrial site at Pioneer / Soon Lee

A 1.7-hectare industrial site at Pioneer Road North / Soon Lee Street has been released under the Reserve List system today.

Spanning a maximum gross plot ratio of 2.0, the site has a lease period of 30 years. It is zoned for Business 2 uses such as light industry, warehousing and utilities, according to the Urban Redevelopment Agency (URA).

If the criteria to trigger this site are met, the site will be put up for sale by public tender.

This is the first of 4 new industrial sites to be released for sale under the Reserve List for the first half of 2011.

The other 3 sites – Woodlands Avenue 12, Gambas Avenue and Kaki Bukit Road 4 / Bartley Road East – will be released for sale in March and June 2011.
