
Urban Redevelopment Authority launches new residential sites at Jalan Loyang Besar / Sembawang Road
The residential sites can potentially yield about 970 housing units.
According to URA, the land parcels at Jalan Loyang Besar/ Pasir Ris Drive 4 and Sembawang Road/ Jalan Sendudok are launched for sale under the Confirmed List of the 1H 2011 Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme.
In addition, the Housing & Development Board (HDB) will be releasing another private residential site at Buangkok Drive/Sengkang East Drive for sale via the Confirmed List on 30 Mar 2011. Together, these three residential sites can potentially yield about 1,500 housing units and will provide developers and home-buyers with more choices.
The 2.7 ha land parcel at Jalan Loyang Besar/ Pasir Ris Drive 4 has a maximum permissible gross floor area (GFA) of 56,673 sqm and can potentially yield about 580 housing units. Located in the east region of Singapore and close to Pasir Ris Park and other recreation amenities, the land parcel is in a choice location for private residential developments. It is also well connected to the rest of the island via the Tampines Expressway.
The land parcel Sembawang Road/ Jalan SendudokWith has an area of about 2.8 ha, this land parcel located in the north region of Singapore will have a maximum permissible gross floor area (GFA) of 38,735 sqm and ca potentially yield about 390 housing units. The site’s close proximity to the Sembawang MRT Station offers residents easy access to all parts of Singapore. The site is also adjacent to Sembawang Shopping Centre and near to Sun Plaza, where shopping, dining and entertainment amenities can be found.
