CapitaCommercial Trust's net property income up 6.4% to $54m in Q1

Thanks to higher office rents.

CapitaCommercial Trust reported that its net property income increased 6.4% year-on-year to $54m in the first quarter, driven by higher rents at its properties.

CCT reported that the monthly average office portfolio gross rent grew 2% over the quarter from $8.61 per
square foot at end-December 2014 to $8.78 per square foot at end-March 2015.

CCT reported a distribution per unit (DPU) of 2.12 cents, a 3.9% increase from its DPU of 2.04 cents in the same period last year.
