This chart from Knight Frank shows the top five commercial property investment transactions in Singapore during the first half of 2019, which collectively accounted for $3.79b or 62.1% of the $6.1b sales recorded during the period.

The largest commercial transaction in H1 was the sale of Chevron House for $1.02b to US real estate fund Golden Compass. The sale price translated to approximately $3,923 per sqft (psf) based on existing NLA of 261,280 sqft, or$2,739 per sqft (psf) based on a proposed increase in NLA to 374,165 sqft.
Frasers Property’s divestment of its 50% stake in the newly completed Frasers Tower was the second largest commercial transaction during the period. Korea’s National Pension Service acquired the stake for $982m in June.
Other notable deals that were not in the list include the $485.3m partial divestment of Marina Square , the partial divestment of Waterway Point for $440.6m, and the $385m sale of Tampines Grande.
