City Developments sold over 85% Tree House units

Nature-inspired condo with apartments ranging from $640,000 to $2.4mln was able to attract huge buyers.

In celebration of Earth Day on Friday, City Developments Limited (CDL) and its joint venture partner, Hong Realty (Private) Limited unveiled the nature-inspired residential development – Tree House, at a private preview and received very positive response.

Over 85% of the 350 units launched on Friday were sold when the Tree House show suite was opened to interested buyers who were invited by CDL and its marketing agents to the preview. A wide spectrum of units from two to four bedrooms including penthouses was taken up.

Tree House, a 99-year leasehold condominium nestled within the Upper Bukit Timah and Chestnut Avenue private residential estate, comprises four towers of 24-storey apartments with 429 units, as stated in CDL press statement on Friday.

The apartments are priced at about $800 per square foot. The apartments released for sale ranged from $640,000 for 2-bedroom units to about $2.4 million for the 5-bedroom penthouses.

Due to the strong demand, CDL introduced a balloting system to regulate the crowd at the show suite. 80% of the buyers are Singaporeans.

Tree House sits serenely in its own enclave, with verdant views of the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Upper Peirce Reservoir virtually at the doorstep.
