CLI names Andrew Lim as the new Group COO
Lim will take on the post on 1 January 2023.
CapitaLand Investment Limited’s (CLI) current Group CFO, Andrew Lim, has been assigned to take over the newly created position of Group COO.
Lim will assume the post on 1 January 2023.
On the same day, Paul Tham, who currently serves as Deputy Group CFO, will replace Lim as Group CFO. Tham will oversee CLI’s finance, capital management and strategy.
As Group COO, Lim will facilitate and steward CLI’s deal sourcing, investment and operations in the various markets across the Group’s fund and lodging platforms.
He will also oversee the company’s China business and businesses in Japan, Korea, Australia, Europe and the USA.
Lastly, Lim will oversee sustainability, risk management and compliance across the Group.
Besides Lim and Tham’s appointments, CLI also named the individuals who will take over its three newly created roles.
Janine Gui, who is currently serving as Managing Director & Head of Group Strategic Investment, has been appointed Chief M&A Officer.
Meanwhile, Kng Hwee Tin, current CEO of China Capital Markets and Finance & Corporate Services, CLI China, has been appointed Group Chief Risk Officer.
Both Ms Gui’s and Ms Kng’s appointments are effective 1 January 2023.
Quah Ley Hoon also joined CLI as its Chief People and Culture Officer on 1 December 2022.
