CLI opens 79 Robinson Road in Tanjong Pagar CBD
It has EV parking slots, a cooling energy redirection system, and more sustainable features.
A Grade A office development in Tanjong Pagar, 79 Robinson Road, saw its official opening today by CapitaLand Investment (CLI).
Officiating the opening ceremony was Desmond Lee, Minister for National Development & Minister-in-Charges of Social Services Integration.
The property is co-owned by Mitsui and Tokyo Tatemono. It includes a net lettable area of around 518,000 square feet.
Features that contributed to the building’s sustainability include the integration of low-carbon strategies, such as the introduction of electric vehicle parking slots, redirection of cooling energy to provide increased thermal comfort, and incorporation of greenery and landscaping into the building.
16 multinational companies currently make up the occupants of the Grade A office development, from sectors such as banking, legal, insurance and financial services, business consultancy, IT, aviation, and media and telecommunications.
“The successful completion of 79 Robinson Road during COVID-19 would not have been possible without the support of the authorities and our joint venture partners Mitsui and Tokyo Tatemono. We are delighted that our esteemed tenants have chosen this building as their new address, attracted by its excellent connectivity, premium building specifications, sustainable features, core-flex offerings and strong focus on wellness and community,” said Chris Chong, CEO, Retail & Workspace, CLI.
