
Eagle Hospitality Trust directors interviewed by MAS
This follows the joint investigation of suspected breaches of disclosure requirements.
Eagle Hospitality Business Trust Management (EHT) confirms that the current directors have attended interviews with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to assist in the ongoing joint investigation with the Commercial Affairs Department of the Singapore Police Force (CAD).
This follows the joint investigation into current and former directors, and officers responsible for managing EHT in connection with suspected breaches of disclosure requirements under Section 203 of the Securities and Futures Act (Chapter 289) of Singapore.

EHT adds that the directors have and will continue to cooperate fully with the authorities on the Investigation. Former directors have also been or will be interviewed.
As at the date of the announcement, authorities have not disclosed to EHT managers any further details of the investigation.

In the meantime, MAS has confirmed that their review of the application submitted by Far East Consortium International Limited (FECIL) as a proposed new controller of Eagle Hospitality REIT Management is in progress.
