GuocoLand's trading volume skyrockets to 6.95m

It jumped 10 times its three month average.

After finishing strong in its financial year ending in June, GuocoLand has seen the biggest volume jump in the past week of September among all real estate players.

According to a report by SGX MyGateway, GuocoLand’s leap in volume was primarily due to a large transaction.

GuocoLand's average volume traded for the past week is 6.95 million, an overwhelming leap from its 3 month average of 0.56 million.

To recall, GuocoLand reported profit for the period at $622.5 million compared to $243.8 million a year ago.

The report noted that following GuocoLand as biggest volume jumpers were Frasers Centrepoint Limited, Far East Hospitality Trust and Perennial Real Estate Holdings.
