
HDB and URA unveils three sale sites under GLS programme
Together, the three sites yield about 2,000 residential units.
The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and the Housing & Development Board (HDB) released two residential sites and one White site under the H2 2018 Government Land Sales (GLS) programme, an announcement revealed.
The URA Kampong Java Road plot spans 11,643.3 sqm within an established private residential estate with a permissible gross floor area (GFA) of 32,602 sqm, URA said. Schools such as the Anglo-Chinese School (Junior) and Etonhouse Pre-School (Newton) are located nearby, as well as the Newton Food Centre.
Meanwhile, HDB’s Tampines Avenue 10 executive condominium site has a land area of 24,938.7 sqm with a maximum GFA of 69,829 sqm. Its total number of dwelling units is capped at 700 according to HDB.
The White site, which is a plot where a range of uses are allowed, at Marina View is envisaged to be a mixed-use development with about 540 hotel rooms which will be complemented by retail and food and beverage uses, the statement revealed. It comprises of two plots - the land parcel spans 7,817.7 sqm whilst the subterranean stratum is 18 sqm in size - within Singapore’s financial and business district at the Marina Bay area and has an overall GFA of 101,629 sqm.
“Together, the three sites can yield about 2,000 residential units,” HDB said in a statement.
The residential sites at Kampong Java Road and Tampines Avenue 10 were launched for sale under the Confirmed List, whilst the White Site at Marina View is available for application under the Reserve List.
Submission of tenders for the sites at Kampong Java Road and Tampines Avenue 10 will close at 12 noon on 15 January 2019.
