IREIT Global manager appoints Peter Viens as new CEO
Viens will replace d’Estienne d’Orves .
IREIT Global’s manager has picked Peter Viens as its new chief executive officer (CEO), succeeding Louis d’Estienne d’Orves.
d’Estienne d’Orves was IREIT’s CEO since 2001 and has left the company to join Tikehau Capital.
Before this appointment, Viens held senior positions in corporate real estate departments and is a fund manager at Sofidy, where he has worked for over seven years.
In addition, the manager has also appointed Emilio Velasco as the new chief investment officer (CIO) on a part-time basis.
Velasco will work directly with the CEO, overseeing the investment and asset management functions for IREIT.
Velasco is the Head of Real Estate (Spain & Portugal) at Tikehau Capital, where he oversees strategic planning and leads investment and real estate management teams.
Apart from his role as CIO, he has been promoted to Head of Real Assets Iberia at Tikehau Capital and co-head of Real Estate Acquisition at Tikehau Investment Management whilst maintaining his current responsibilities.
