IWG launches Regus at HarbourFront Tower 2 to raise workspace footprint
It opens in mid-August.
Regus at HarbourFront Tower 2 opens in August to offer new workplace spaces in the heart of Singapore’s waterfront district, IWG announced.
The launch stems from Singapore’s Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) works towards its long-term polycentric strategy to bring job opportunities and workplaces closer to where people live.
The 11,000 square feet property will mark the 10th decentralised IWG location away from Singapore’s city centre, which addresses the continued demand for more flexible workspaces within the heartlands and suburban communities. In 2022, visits to IWG centres in the city fringe and heartland areas grew by over 60%.
HarbourFront is seen to become a key gateway and residential district amid plans to build 9,000 homes on the Keppel Club site and transform the Greater Southern Waterfront through mixed-use developments.
“The geography of work is changing, as more employees increasingly demand high-quality workplaces closer to home. People want easy access to amenities and services to help them work productively within close proximity to their homes, and they are also realising the importance of physical places to collaborate and meet with colleagues locally,” said Mark Dixon, Founder and CEO of IWG.
