Keppel REIT designates a new chief financial officer
Sebastian Song offers two decades of experience in finance and audit.
Former EY senior audit manager is appointed as Keppel REIT’s new chief financial officer (CFO), succeeding Kang Leng Hui, who will step down on 27 October 2023.
In a bourse filing, the REIT’s manager said Song’s new designation will take effect on 30 October 2023. He has more than 18 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, taxation,
compliance and audit.
He first joined the company in 2015, where he served as the financial controller until 2020. His responsibilities include group reporting and taxation, financial accounting, compliance, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting.
Before his post at Keppel REIT, he was a Senior Audit Manager with “Ernst & Young LLP, where he was involved in the audit of Singapore-listed corporations and multinational companies across various industries including real estate, construction and shipping, as well as initial public offerings.”
Koh Wee Lih, Chief Executive Officer of the Manager, said Song, as an invaluable member of the team and deep knowledge and experience in the REIT will augment the strong foundations of the company, which aims to generate stable income and long-term total return to its unitholders.
