Keppel Reit needs to improve trend for sustainability metrics: analyst
Its overall ESG grade is 74, which is considered above average.
Upon its evaluation, Maybank said Keppel REIT put up tangible long-term and mid-term targets for sustainability.
However, it mentioned that the REIT firm should maintain the improving trend for metrics that are disclosed for the first time.
Its score for Keppel REIT is 74, an above average rating and highest amongst peers.
“Whilst this has been helped by maiden disclosures on a few quantitative metrics such as waste and water recycling, usage of renewable energy, and number of buildings with green certification, we believe it is also a reflection of broad-based improvement in its sustainability practices,” Maybank said.
