LMIR Trust to install solar PV panels in three Indonesian malls

It is expected to reduce over 44,893 tonnes of carbon emissions.

SGX-listed LMIRT Management Ltd and PT Investasi Hijau Satu, a renewable energy company, will install solar photovoltaic (PV) panels in LMIR Trust malls in Indonesia.

The three malls are Mal Lippo Cikarang (Second Phase), Lippo Plaza Kramat Jati and Lippo Plaza Batu.

It will be installed by the first quarter of 2025 and will have a capacity of 1.89 MW peak, producing over 2,572 MW hours per year. 

The panels are expected to reduce 44,893 tonnes of carbon emissions over a lifecycle of 25 years, equating to planting 7,380 trees.
