The company attributes this to revenue increasing to $257.9m.
Low Keng Huat Ltd reported a net profit increase to $5.8m for the first six months of 2024, compared to a net loss of $1.5m in the same period in 2023.
The company attributes this to its higher revenue of $257.9m in H1, compared to H1 2023’s $192.8m.
Low Keng Huat notably reported higher revenues from its Property Development ($225.4m) and Hotel ($23m) segments.
This was partially offset by the Investment segment decreasing to $9.5m due to the absence of construction revenue from external parties.
Basic earnings per share for the period stood at 0.0078 Singapore cents.
