Mapletree Industrial Trust DPU up 11.9% y-o-y for 2Q FY21

This was mainly due to contributions from the acquisition of data centres in North America.

Mapletree Industrial Trust saw a DPU increase by 11.9% y-o-y for 2Q FY 2021, it announced in a press release.

This allowed it to settle at 3.47 cents, an increase from the 3.10 cents 2QFY20/21.

Net property income also echoed this strong performance with a 47.4% y-o-y growth to $120.3m. This was due to the consolidation of revenue and expenses from the 14 data centres in the United States.

The amount available for distribution to Unitholders increased by 21.3% y-o-y to $88.4m.

Tham Kuo Wei, CEO, Mapletree Industrial Trust Management, also highlighted the part of the US Portfolio Acquisition in securing this performance.
