National Aerated Water Building is on the market for $18.9m
Foreigners are eligible to purchase the building.
The National Aerated Water Building was relaunched for sale with an indicative guide price of $18.9m via an expression of interest exercise which will end on 11 May at 3 pm.
CBRE, the property's appointed marking agent, said foreigners are eligible to purchase the building since it’s a commercial property. Foreigners will likewise not be subject to Additional Buyer’s Stamp Duty (ABSD) or Seller’s Stamp Duty (SSD).
Gazetted for conservation in 2017 by the Urban Redevelopment Authority, the conserved freehold two-storey commercial building located at 1177 Serangoon Road has three strata-titled units with a total strata area of approximately 6,555 sq ft.
Its ground-floor retail unit also comes with permanent “Restaurant” approval, while its second-floor unit has been fully tenanted to a student care operator.
The property was first launched for sale in August 2021 but none of the bids was up to the expectations of the building’s owner, according to CBRE.
