New PDD to push sustainability, business opportunities
The new district would be crucial for Singapore and its commercial and business park sectors.
The new Punggol Digital District (PDD) would push through possibilities for a sustainable-built environment that supports occupiers in achieving goals to reduce carbon footprint and positively impact communities, Moray Armstrong, CBRE Singapore Managing Director, commented on the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between JTC Corporation and UOB.
Armstrong also recognised the district's potential for financial growth and development, especially for professionals in the area.
"Its accessibility via public transport and major roads, proximity to residential neighbourhoods with a large proportion of working adults, and amenities, such as food and beverage outlets, add to the attraction of this new precinct. PDD embodies integrating work, life, and play in Real Estate," Armstrong said.

Armstrong added that the PDD is significant for Singapore and its commercial and business park sectors. "Creating high-quality facilities that attract, retain, and develop the best talent is likely to remain part of the formula for corporates to succeed and thrive," he said.
