According to Colliers’ 2015 Global Investment Report, Asian real estate investors remain confident when allocating capital to the region as they continue to be attracted by sound property fundamentals and long-term economic growth in Asia.
The vast majority or 73% of Asian investors believe investment volumes will further increase in 2015. Office properties in Central Business Districts are the most sought after, followed by residential properties, developments, and shopping centers.
A Singapore-based institutional fund said it had seen a lot of global capital moving to the US and Europe, but it believed that long-term fundamentals remained strong in Asia and expected investment volume in Asia to post double-digit growth in 2015.
