Real estate data firm SRX to integrate with 99 Group

All SRX employees will be retained.

Property platform 99 Group has acquired real estate data provider Singapore Real Estate Exchange (SRX), an announcement said.

SRX, being under the same umbrella as 99.co and iproperty.com.sg, will create a widened pool of listings, information, and data tools, which will enable 99 Group to offer more competitive packages to consumers and real estate professionals in Singapore.

“Reliable property data is especially important as property hunting continues to shift online even though physical viewings are now allowed again, suggesting a lasting change in consumer behaviour. The real estate industry needs to digitalise accordingly to meet evolving consumer needs,” 99 Group chief executive officer Darius Cheung said.

The move will position 99 Group as the market leader in Singapore in the medium term.

All SRX employees will also be retained and 99 Group will be integrating them in the coming weeks.
