It was appointed to look after the retrofit of chiller and building management system.
Savills revealed that it has been appointed to manage the retrofit of the Chiller and Building Management System and enhancement of air handling units for Singapore Pools at 210 Middle Road.
“Savills’ Energy & Sustainability Management (ESM) Team will be providing retrofitting management services to ensure the building meets the strict requirements of the prestigious Green Mark Platinum Certification, whilst Savills’ Project Management team will coordinate with all stakeholders to manage this engagement,” read the statement.
As part of the retrofit arrangement, the ESM team has identified areas to focus efforts and capacities to achieve better energy efficiency for the building.
Savills’ ESM team was established at the beginning of this year to provide bespoke energy and sustainability-related solutions to building owners, occupiers, and real estate investors who are looking to reduce operational costs and carbon footprint on their existing assets.

“We firmly believe that through these thoughtful enhancements and other sustainable initiatives within the Singapore Pools Building, they are poised to become a shining example and a true sustainability reference in Singapore,” said Han.
