SG to house ASEAN Regional Computer Emergency Response team for 10 years
It will need US$10.1m to operate the team's physical facility.
Singapore will host the physical facility of the ASEAN Regional Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT).
According to the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), the facility is at the ASEAN-Singapore Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (ASCCE).
The facility will serve as a dedicated space for in-person activities, including cyber exercises and workshops amongst ASEAN Member States.
Singapore will fund and host the ASEAN Regional CERT for up to 10 years.
As the chair of the ASEAN Digital Ministers' Meeting, Singapore will fund the facility's 10-year operation, which requires US$10.1m.
