Shophouse at 22 Temple Street up for sale

The property has a floor area of 3,423 square feet.

A three-storey shophouse at 22 Temple Street will be on sale via a public Expression of Interest (EOI) exercise.

The EOI exercise will end on 12 July at 3 p.m.

“As the shophouse is fully zoned for commercial use under the Urban Redevelopment Authority’s Master Plan 2019, foreigners and companies are eligible to purchase the shophouse and there will be no Additional Buyer Stamp Duty (ABSD) or Seller’s Stamp Duty (SSD) payable,” Savills, the property’s marketing agent, said.

The shophouse has a  floor area of 3,423 square feet (sq ft) and sits on freehold land measuring 1,276 sq ft.

The shophouse, zoned as “commercial,” is 100% occupied. A pawn shop occupies its first and second floors, whilst the third floor is tenanted to a digital market company.

The property is also a two-minute walk away from the Chinatown MRT Interchange Station (Downtown Line and North-East Line) and Maxwell MRT station (Thomson-East Coast Line).
