Singapore's Industrial REIT space welcomes new player

[MAPPED] 7 initial properties in portfolio.

Soilbuild Business Space REIT (Soilbuild REIT) is the latest addition to the industrial REIT space in Singapore.

Listed on the Main Board of Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited on 16 Aug 2013, Soilbuild REIT’s principal investment strategy is to invest on a long-term basis, directly or indirectly, in a portfolio of income-producing real estate used primarily for business space purposes in Singapore as well as real estaterelated assets.

According to OCBC Investment Research Soilbuild REIT’s initial portfolio of properties comprises seven business space properties, including two business park developments and five industrial properties in Singapore. The initial portfolio has an aggregate GFA of 3.2m sqft and a total acquisition price of S$905.3m. The Sponsor for Soilbuild REIT is Soilbuild Group Holdings, a leading integrated property group based in Singapore.
