Ascendas Property Fund Trustee promotes Sanjeev Dasgupta to executive director

He joined the company early this year as assistant CEO.

Ascendas Property Fund Trustee announced the appointment of Sanjeev Dasgupta as executive director in addistion to his current role as chief executive officer.

Mr Dasgupta, 47, will be responsible for overseeing corporate development, finance, asset and investment management, and investor relations functions in managing Ascendas India Trust.

He joined the company on 15 January 2014 as assistant CEO and was appointed as CEO on 11 July 2014. Prior to this, he was president of real estate at ICICI Venture, where he was responsible for real estate private equity investments. From 2005 to 2009, he was managing director of Future Capital Holdings. From 2004, he worked with Epicenter Technologies as CFO and with Essar Group, according to a Ascendas Property Fund Trustee report.
