Ascendas REIT names Khiatani Manohar Ramesh as director

He will replace Chong Siak Ching who will retire from the Board of AFM and of Ascendas Hospitality Trust Management and Ascendas Hospitality Fund Management later this month.

The Board of Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust (A-REIT) announced the appointment of Khiatani Manohar Ramesh as non-executive director of AFM, being manager of A-REIT and of Ascendas Hospitality Trust Management and Ascendas Hospitality Fund Management.

Mr Khiatani, 53, is the current president and chief executive officer of Ascendas Group since May 2013. Before this, he was CEO of JTC Corporation from October 2009 to April 2013, assistant/deputy managing director (from February 2007 to September 2009) and director (March 2003 to February 2007) of Economic Development Group, according to a Ascendas REIT and Ascendas Ascendas Hospitality Fund Management reports.
