Forterra Trust names two non-executive directors

The Board believes Eric Chung Chun Kwong and Vincent Cheung Sai Sing possess the requisite experience and are able to carry out their duties.

Forterra Trust announced the appointment of Eric Chung Chun Kwong and Vincent Cheung Sai Sing as non-executive directors of the trustee-manager.

Mr Chung, 52, is currently the managing director of Nan Fung Group (the "Group) and is in charge of the finance and investment division which covers the accounting, finance and investment functions of the Group.

He joined the Group in 2001. From September 2001 to July 2012, he was the executive director of Nan Fung Development Limited ("NFD"). From August 2002 to December 2005, he was the executive manager/mortgage manager of NFD. From January 2006 to December 2008, he was the deputy general manager of NFD. From January to August 2009, whilst he was the deputy general manager of NFD, he was also the general manager of Nan Fung Textiles Consolidated Limited (now known as "Nan Fung Property Consolidated Limited"). From September 2009 to July 2011, he was the finance director of NFD. From August 2011 to present, he has been managing director of the Group.

Before joining the Group, Mr. Chung brought with him over eighteen years of banking and investment experience in Canada and in Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, Mr. Cheung, 32, joined Nan Fung Development Limited ("NFD") in 2009 and has been an executive director since Feburary 2012, being responsible for the daily operation and proposition, evaluation, and approval of new investments of NFD and its affiliated companies, according to a Forterra Trust report.

Before joining NFD, Mr. Cheung was the vice president of the Hong Kong Medium Term Notes Trading Department for Citigroup Global Markets Asia from March 2004 to May 2008 (before he graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2003). From May 2008 to July 2009, he was the vice president of Asia-Pacific Sales Structuring Department for Barclays Capital Asia. From September to October 2009, he was a senior investment manager at NFD. From November 2009 to January 2012, he was a director at NFD. He became an executive director at NFD in February 2012.
