Frasers Property Singapore's Christopher Tang to retire as CEO
He will assume the position of senior adviser.
Frasers Property Singapore’s Christopher Tang will retire as CEO by the end of 2019 and assume the position of senior adviser by 2020, according to a press release.
He will also continue to serve as a director on the boards of Frasers Property (Singapore), Frasers Centrepoint Asset Management and Frasers Commercial Asset Management.
Tang joined Frasers Property in 2001, and rose up the corporate ladder to become CEO for commercial and Greater China and CEO of Frasers Centrepoint Asset Management.
Frasers Property’s senior executive vice president and head of retail & commercial Low Chee Wah will also be appointed as CEO of the company’s Singapore retail platform starting 15 October.
The platform, which will be a retail focused business unit in Singapore from 15 October, will cover the asset, property and development management of its retail assets in Singapore. The unit will represent an asset size of $8b with development, asset management and property management capabilities to retail assets held across Frasers Property Singapore and Frasers Centrepoint Trust.
Low will be reporting to the board of directors for Frasers Property (Singapore), comprising Tang, Frasers Property group CEO Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi and group CFO Loo Choo Leong.
