HSR Global appoints two non-executive directors

Tan Kok Hiang was also named as Remuneration Committee chairman and Audit and Nominating Committees member, and Bill Yii Hung Due as Nominating Committee chairman and Audit and Remuneration Committees member.

The Board of HSR Global announced the appointment of Tan Kok Hiang and Bill Yii Hung Due as non-executive directors.

Mr Tan, 64, executive advisor/chairman of executive committee of South China Morning Post (Hong Kong) from 2010 to 2012, deputy executive chairman/CEO of Star Publications (M) Bhd (Malaysia) from 1986 to 2009 and council member of University Tunku Abdul Rahman (Malaysia) from 2001 to 2008, according to an HSR Global report .

Meanwhile, Mr Yii, 55, is currently executive director of Jitramas Jaya Sdn Bhd (Malaysia) (since 2007), Maxtown Development Sdn Bhd (Malaysia) (since 2002) and Welcojaya Homes Sdn Bhd, Welcojaya Land Sdn Bhd, Welcojaya Properties Sdn Bhd, S.Q. Timur Sdn Bhd (Malaysia) since 1993.
