Hutchinson Port Holdings Management named Edith Shih and Sin Ling Tsim as directors
Both women have been in the Group for years.
Miss Shih, 64, is head group general counsel and company secretary for CK Hutchison Holdings or CKHH since June 3, 2015.
She is deputy company secretary for Hutchison Port Holdings Management since February 2011. She is director for Hutchison China MediTech. She joined CKHH in 1989, overseeing legal, corporate finance, regulatory, compliance and corporate governance affairs, with in-depth knowledge of the business operations. She is director and company secretary of various companies within the Group.
Miss Shih is a qualified solicitor in England, Wales, Hong Kong, Victoria, and Australia. She is a fellow in The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Master of Arts degree from the University of the Philippines, a Master of Arts degree and a Master of Education degree from the Columbia University.
Miss Tsim, 59, is group chief financial officer for Hutchison Port Holdings or HPH since 2014 and director for various companies within the Group. She has extensive experience in the accounting and finance profession, and specializes in internal auditing and controls, as well as financial analysis and reporting.
Before joining HPH Group in 2001, Miss Tsim has over 20 years of experience in professional practice in public accounting firm and several different industries in the commercial sector with roles in financial controllership.
She is member of the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada, the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
