Lim Lee Meng and Tan Kian Chew resigned as Suntec REIT's directors
They wanted to focus on other work commitments.
Mr. Lim, 61 and Mr. Tan, 63 were appointed on October 28, 2004.
Mr. Lim is VP for Hong Kong-Singapore Business Association and board member for Asian Public Real Estate Association. He is also practicing member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore, associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and member of the Singapore Institute of Directors. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy) from Nanyang University in May 1980. He got a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Hull in 1992, Master of Science degree and a Diploma in Business Law from the National University of Singapore in 1989 and an ICSA qualification from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
Mr. Tan was principal private secretary for Prime Minister’s Office He served in the Republic of Singapore’s Navy from 1976 to 1983 and became its head of Naval Operations. He joined Singapore’s elite Administrative Service in 1983 and served in the Ministry of Trade and Industry. He completed the Advance Management Program at Harvard University in 2000 and holds an Honors Degree (First Class) in Mechanical Engineering at University of Aston.
