Stamford Land names Chua Siew Hwi as CFO

She will replace Tay Lai Wat, who will relinquish his CFO post to focus on his COO role in the company.

Stamford Land announced the appointment of Chua Siew Hwi as chief financial officer.

Ms Chua, 36, has been understudying the CFO portfolio since June 2013. Ms Chua has a strong track record in financial management, including senior leadership positions with exposure to significant local and international operations. Ms Chua was selected through a rigorous process, which included the carrying out of reference checks.

She was CFO, Stamford Land Management from June 2013 until her appointment. Before this she was consultant, Singapore Exchange and advisor (corporate/financial strategy & management), for Singapore-based family office of an ultra high net-worth client from 2012 to May 2013, according to a Stamford Land report.
