7 in 10 employees want flexibility in working schedules, locations
They are even willing to receive a pay cut just to be granted such flexibility.
Rather than an arbitrary hybrid work, 70% of employees would like their employers to provide them flexibility in their working schedules in locations.
According to ADP® Research Institute’s People at Work 2022: A Global Workforce View, 38% of employees would even accept a pay cut if they will be allowed to work in their preferred locations.
Over 72% said they are also willing to work the same hours as long as they are given more flexibility in their schedules.
“With remote and hybrid working models already widely adopted by Singapore companies, employers should consider what is the next level of flexible work and what employee benefits will retain talent in the years ahead,” the report said.
“This could be in the form of implementing a four-day work week, allowing employees to curate their schedules, or allowing employees to work remotely from overseas locations,” it added.
