Talent availability emerges as a top concern amongst senior executives

Only 30% of organisations are prepared to respond to a dearth of talent.

The power of employees has rapidly grown in the Singapore market to the extent that senior executives now consider talent availability as the top threat to organisational health.

A study by research firm Russell Reynolds Associates said executives are more concerned over unprecedented developments of employee engagement and retention strategies than changes in consumer behaviour and geopolitical uncertainty.

The number of executives who cited that employee engagement is the top concern of business rose 60 percentile points from the previous year.

Whilst talent availability is a top concern amongst organisations, only 30% are prepared to respond to a dearth of talent and skills availability.

To create the trust needed to attract and retain a competent workforce equipped with the desired and necessary skill sets, organisations are bridging divides between top leadership and frontline employees.
