ASTD-STADA Asia Pacific Conference to deliver innovative HCD solutions
ASAP 2011 will be held from 16th – 18th November at the Marina Bay Sands Convention & Exhibition Centre in Singapore.
According to a release, through the strategic partnership of the Singapore Training & Development Association or STADA, and the American Society for Training & Development or ASTD, the ASTD-STADA Asia Pacific or ASAP Conference 2011 will bring together leading experts, strategists and management thinkers in Human Capital Development or HCD.
ASAP 2011 will feature a stellar line-up of keynote presentations, super sessions, workshops and the announcement of DDI’s Global Leadership Forecast Survey 2010/2011 results.
The event is expected to draw more than 1,500 delegates from Singapore and around the world, comprising CEO’s, decision-makers, academics and HR professionals.
ASTD and STADA will leverage their complementary strengths and expertise to facilitate the transfer of knowledge from more than 40 internationally-renowned training experts, including Dr. Fons Trompernaars, the world authority on managing cultural diversity; Tony Bingham, President and CEO of ASTD and author of The New Social Learning; and, Liz Wiseman, former Director of Oracle University and author of bestselling book Multipliers: How the Best Leaders Make Everyone Smarter.
The conference will offer over 75 sessions over the course of three days, including nine education tracks tailored for C-Suite1 & Practitioner participants: Innovation Strategies for Creative Thinking; Blended Learning & Learning Technology; HCD Industry Trends & Insights; Productivity & Value Measuring; Public/Private Sector Training; Leadership Development & Talent Management; Multi-cultural & Multi-generational Training; Adult Learning; and SME Training.
ASAP 2011 is also supported by the Work Development Agency (WDA), through the Institute for Adult Learning Singapore (IAL), which will offer its expertise on public sector training.
